What is Catalonia 5K "Run for Love" ?
The Catalonia 5K “Run for Love” celebrates its tenth anniversary, and more than just a race, it has become a highly special milestone for Catalonia Hotels & Resorts. An event for families and friends, as well as a very special way to collaborate with great organizations that have dedicated their efforts to transforming the lives of thousands of children.
More than just a race, it is a call to action. We have forged unbreakable bonds with Make a Wish México, FACCI, and Save the Children. A testament to the transformative power of love and solidarity, inviting people to run not only for sport but for a cause that makes a difference.
The year 2025 is especially significant as it marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of the 5K “Run for Love,” which has grown and gained popularity and participants year after year. It’s now an international event, allowing participation from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, or anywhere in the world through its virtual format.
We are proud of this project for its creativity, execution, and, above all, for the cause it represents.
5K Run for Love is a movement, a reminder that together we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
It is a charity race, held in person at Hotel
Catalonia Playa Maroma in Mexico and Pearl
Beach Club Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic,
as well as virtually for runners worldwide who wish
to participate and support this cause.
If you’re in Mexico, get ready to run on the most beautiful beach at the Catalonia Playa Maroma Hotel. If you’re in the
Dominican Republic, we start from Pearl Beach Club.
