What is Catalonia 5K "Run for Love" ?
The Catalonia 5K Race “Run for Love,” powered by Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, is an annual celebration of unity and solidarity that brings together people from various countries, including the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Globally. More than just a race, it’s a call to action to improve the lives of vulnerable children. We’ve forged a truly unique partnership with organizations like Make a Wish Mexico, FACCI, and Save the Children, dedicated to supporting children with special medical needs. This collaboration is a testament to the transformative power of love and solidarity, inviting you to run not just for sport, but for a cause that makes a difference. Join us in this remarkable journey to transform lives through solidarity and action.
It is a charity race, held in-person in Mexico (Hotel Catalonia Playa Maroma), in the Dominican Republic (Pearl Beach Club Punta Cana), and through a virtual race for runners around the world who wish to participate and support this cause.
If you are in Mexico, get ready to run on the most beautiful beach at the Hotel Catalonia Playa Maroma. If you are in the Dominican Republic, we start from Pearl Beach Club. What are you waiting for? Sign up! If in-person locations are inaccessible to you, don’t worry! You also have the option to participate in the virtual race. Choose the race that is closest to you and join us on this adventure!” Where is my starting line? If you are in Mexico or the Dominican Republic on May 21, 2024, head over to the Catalonia Playa Maroma Hotel in Mexico or to the Pearl Beach Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and sign up. If the in-person locations are too far away, don’t worry! You can participate in the virtual race. Sign up for the race that’s closest to you and come run with us!
